Apprenticeship & Workplace Math 11 will teach students math they will use in a job or in their daily life.  This course will be especially useful if students are planning to learn a trade or find a job directly after graduating.  Apprenticeship & Workplace Math 11 is specifically designed for someone who is planning to enter a technical college, or a trade school or to get a job.  It will not satisfy entrance requirements for universities or colleges.  The apprenticeship math pathway has been designed to provide students with the mathematical understanding and critical thinking skills needed for entry into the majority of trades and for direct entry into the workforce.  Several lessons focus on consumer and business math.  Others concentrate on math that will be essential knowledge for specific trades and occupations.
